Beginning his term with a new focus, “Now, we must guide our customers, not just sell a lease”, says Jack. Abiding by the Golden Rule and developing a relationship based on the customer requires that leasing professionals provide advice on strategies to restructure existing debt to enhance a business’ cash flow. The leasing industry remains sound, even in our struggling economy. Leasing allows businesses to stay competitive by staying current on rapidly available upgrades in technology, thus having access to the latest machinery as opposed to maintaining older models. “Jack Harvey has both the personal dedication to our industry, leadership experience that we (NAELB) need to continue offering the very best in leasing association experiences”, stated Brian Montgomery, immediate past president of NAELB. The NAELB Board is confident that Jack will do all that he can to keep the industry headed in the right direction. “I can think of no better person to lead this organization in what some might argue are challenging economic times”, says Montgomery.
